2019 Week 30: The advent of Twerp
Twerp stood for something, but we cannot remember what.
The power of TWERP
This was the point in development where we started a new engine, based on all that had come before, but tidier and taking into account new coding styles we'd learned in our day jobs.
It may have been a pivot away from Phaser over to PIXI.js as well, and may mark the first time we were going direct to PIXI (but we could also be wrong in that).
Twilight ?
Actually TWERP may have had some link to Twilight, which used to be the original name for our other game called "A long way till morning" (ALTWM). That was until the film franchise destroyed that word for us forever more.
